Short BIO:
Salvador García received the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in computer science from the University of Granada, Granada, Spain, in 2004 and 2008, respectively. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, University of Jaén, Jaén, Spain. His research interests include data mining, data reduction, data complexity, imbalanced learning, statistical inference and evolutionary algorithms. S. García authored over 60 papers in conference proceedings and journals including Journal of Machine Learning Research, IEEE Trans. on Evolutionary Computation, IEEE Trans. on Neural Networks, Neural Networks, Pattern Recognition, Information Sciences, Evolutionary Computation, Journal of Heuristics, Soft Computing, Applied Soft Computing, IEEE Trans. on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics.
